I didn't know there was a movie. Have to watch it. I also like the cartoons, but I'm not sure if they were the same ones.

Joanne, for shame! They're absolutely adorable singing woodland creatures! The movie was all cuuuute and stuff! They're covers are rather amusing and I loved all the holiday cartoons as well as the actual cartoon series.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but the cartoons were awesome. I used to have a bunch of Christmas tapes and a couple others, one had the Chipmunks covering country songs and it was called "Chipmunks in low Places." It was so cute! I also had a greatest hits tape, not to mention a greatest hits CD that was slightly different, it had an interview with the creator's son, and another CD with a space theme called the A-files. I guess I still do have that stuff somewhere, I should look for it. I know where the CD's are anyways, my boyfriend has them and refuses to give them back, lol! So as you can tell I was a huge fan of them when I was little, I'm not sure what I'll think of the movie since I'm a firm believer in not messing with classics, but I would watch it for the hell of it when I get around to it.

I haven't watched it but one sceen. It's pretty cool as the second film is filmed at my school once again *sigh* yet again, the film makers loves my school. There seems to always be filming. So, I may see the second movie to see why the hell they used our school and blocked traffic. Yeah, I said one sceen because I am on the journalism team and the team was invited to go up there to watch them shoot a sceen. It got annoying though, as they said the lines at least twenty times.

Awww, they're so cuuuute!
The Chipettes, LOL. Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor. Wow, I have way too much time on my hands.
The movie was cute, but I really liked the original cartoon.
